DAESUNG

Daesung has made its mark in the history of changes in the energy industry, as well as in other areas throughout Korea . The conglomerate started as a basic materials business in the 1970s; then it participated in overseas projects, electronics & machinery projects, and city gas projects in the 1980s; and participated in oil and gas field development projects in order to vertically systematize its energy projects in the 1990s, when it also expanded its business spheres to the construction, environment sectors. Moreover, in 2000, Daesung launched its combined heat and power generation projects. Daesung has always led energy projects in Korea , it has closely followed the flow of the times, and achieved the diversification of its management and the expansion of its business projects. Now, Daesung is poised to grow into an international conglomerate and all its executives and 2,000 employees, including me, are working to advance into a more developed future.
